The long-awaited new French Group is about to get underway! An initial meeting has been arranged for Thursday 19th November, 13.30 - 14.30, offering an opportunity to meet the new convenor, Vivienne, who is a fluent French speaker and has previously taught in Geneva.

The group is intended for members who already have some basic knowledge of french. The sessions will aim to build vocabulary, with an emphasis on conversation, dialogue and pronunciation.

The overall aim is to help members improve their French and gain confidence in speaking it in everyday situations, particularly those they might encounter when visiting France. Hopefully members will soon feel confident enough to put their French into practice and enjoy having a conversation with the locals!
